The Harraden family and Ivey House Staff will welcome you to Everglades City, a small, quaint, fishing village, located on the northwest boundary of Everglades National Park. Everglades City specializes in stonecrab claws and provides travelers many opportunities to experience this unique area. Popular activities are hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, sea shelling, fishing, boating, birding and wildlife viewing.

Surrounded by several scenic parks, including Everglades National Park, Big Cypress National Preserve, Collier-Seminole State Park and Fakahatchee Strand, allows explorers to experience a variety of ecosystems seen by very few. Also nearby is Corkscrew Swamp, Shark Valley, Butterfly World, Briggs Nature Center and other interesting nature centers.

North American Canoe Tours, Inc., The Ivey House Bed & Breakfast and Everglades Rental & Eco Adventures is a family run company, established in 1979, located in Everglades City, Florida. Our goal is to help travelers experience this pristine wilderness in a natural way. We believe in conservation and preservation of these beautiful lands while providing travelers ways to explore this unique ecology by canoe, kayak, power boat, bicycle or by foot.

We provide accommodations including the Lodge, a private Cottage located next door, and the Inn which adjoins the Lodge. All of our buildings are non-smoking and pets are not allowed. We also provide half day, full day and overnight guided canoe, kayak and boating adventures led by naturalist guides.
