The Ivey House Lodge is a remodeled boarding house built circa 1928, operated by Mr. & Mrs. Ivey, to house the workers constructing the Tamiami Trail. Eleven air conditioned rooms off a long hallway are very simple and share common men and women's bathrooms. Each room either has two twin size beds, one twin size bed, and one double size bed or one queen size bed. There are no heaters, TV, phone or bathroom in these rooms. A few heaters are located in the hallway. Guests often gather in the common living room to visit with others, read, play games, or watch TV. The lodge is a very short walk to the tropical courtyard where one can enjoy the pool. Closed March 30 through November 1.
All rates are based on one or two person occupancy per night.
There is a $15 charge for each additional person over two people per room.
The following rates do not include tax.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided for all our guests. Breakfast is also available to the public. Call for prices. All guests have the use of a relaxing pool. (Pool Use Exceptions: Children five to sixteen years of age need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. No children under five years os age are allowed in the pool.)
Ivey House guests receive a 20% discount on Canoe & kayak rentals and day guided eco-adventures.
All facilities including the courtyard and porches are non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Your credit card will be charged a $100 cleaning fee if either is detected.
*Seafood Festival is a Friday & Saturday minimum stay.
A deposit of the first night in full is required at the time of the reservation in order to guarantee it. If you cancel or change any part of your reservation prior to seven days before the date of arrival you are charged a fee of $25.00 plus tax per room and if you cancel or change any part of your reservation within the seven days the deposit becomes non-refundable. Seafood Festival Weekend is a Friday and Saturday night minimum stay and payment in full is required upon reservation. There are absolutely no refunds for cancellations of rooms during Seafood Festival.
