Venture next door for a thrilling airboat ride gliding over the expansive beauty of the sawgrass prairie. Local airboats stay on designated trails in order to keep the Environmental impact to a minimum. Return to the Ivey House for a scrumptious box lunch. At 1:00pm meet you naturalist guide for a paddling adventure deep into the Everglades. Paddle through narrow mangrove tunnels and cypress forests. You may even float next to an alligator basking on a nearby bank. This magical experience will give you a taste of the Everglades.

  • Paddle into the Twilight
    Feel the mystery of encroaching Everglades night. Paddle through mangrove tunnels, into the saw-grass prairie, and watch the setting sun. As darkness arrives, the alligators' eyes seem to glow in your headlamp adding a mystique all its own. Times vary based on the time the sun sets.

  • Kayak into a New Day There are few things more enchanting than the Everglades as she awakes. Glide into a new day as the birds soar, the trees whisper and the morning colors change. 7:30am to11:30am.
  • Experience the Magic of the Mangroves Paddle into the Heart of the Everglades, through a tunnel of mangroves, into the cypress swamp, and float next to an alligator basking on a nearby bank. Experience this magical adventure with us. 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Relax around the pool and let the jets relax your muscles.
  • Spend a second night at the Ivey House Inn

Ivey House Everglades Adventure Package

• Day One
  • Arrive any time after 4:00pm and check into the Ivey House.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Wake early and have a delicious breakfast at the Ivey House.
  • Meet your guide at 7:30am to learn more about your adventure. Travel in our comfortable air-conditioned van to the fresh water ecosystem to spot alligators and wading birds. Paddle into a new day where there are few things more enchanting than the Everglades as she awakes. Glide across the water as the birds soar, the trees whisper and the morning colors change. Experience this unique adventure led by a seasoned naturalist guide. Snacks, bottled water, sunscreen and bug spray is included.

  • For an exciting finale to this Everglades Adventure Package drive to Wooten's for an airboat ride, swamp buggy ride, and to view animals up close at their wildlife park and exhibit area.

Fishing and Lodging Package

$799 for two people includes tax, gratuities are not included.

Stay two nights at the Ivey House Inn and spend an afternoon fishing in the Everglades Backcountry. The Inn rooms have two queen beds, a refrigerator, TV, phone, AC and heat, private bathroom with tub and shower. The rooms are around a tropical screened courtyard with a pool and waterfall feature. Breakfast is included each morning. The Everglades and 10,000 Island areas are a unique game-fish ecosystem made up of shallow bays and mangrove islands. It is a perfect habitat for redfish, snook, tarpon and many other species all anxious to take a fly or lure. A box lunch is included.
